WWE Television this week saw five more matches made official for WrestleMania 33 line-up for a total of eleven matches. Three of the matches were leaked online a few months ago, one was heavily implied last week and the last match wasn’t too surprising.
Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns: Will Taker slay another victim or is Reigns going to put down the Deadman? If Reigns goes over, will WWE try to keep him as a babyface or will they flip the script and go full on heel with the Roman Empire? This will end up being one of the most anticipated matches on the card because we have no idea who is going to win.
Wrestling is always better that way!
John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse: This is not what die-hard fans had in mind when they pictured John Cena’s WrestleMania plans. Casual fans will enjoy it because it’s a clash of power couples duking it out.
While I’m hardly looking forward to this match, it’s placement on the card is indicative of this entire show. WrestleMania is no longer concerned with being the best wrestling show. Its goal now is to become the biggest pop culture attraction possible.
Raw Tag Team Championship: Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows (c) vs. Enzo & Big Cass vs. Cesaro & Sheamus: This match will be best served for the kickoff show. Yes, The Club and Cesaro deserves better. However, it pales in comparison to the other high-profile matches on the card.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Neville vs. Austin Aries: This match is the best case scenario for the division. Neville’s is amazing with his “King of the Cruiserweights” gimmick and Aries is a fresh challenger compared to the rest the roster that is bordering on stale. I hope this match makes it on the main card but I doubt it will.
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: The Big Show and Curt Hawkins declared their entry into the match, which makes four people so far including Mojo Rawley and Apollo Crews. Could Big Show become the first two-time winner?
Does anyone really care?
AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon: While this match was not made official, yet, Styles slamming Shane’s head through a car window, followed by Shane coming out at the end of SmackDown to state that he is fighting Styles at WrestleMania pretty much means it’s going to happen.
The IWC loathes the thought of Styles having to work with a limited performer in Shane. I did too, but then I thought about it and realized this could be the most high-profile moment of AJ Styles’ career.
The former Indy darling who WWE didn’t want a few years ago is now working with a McMahon at WrestleMania. No matter how you slice it, anything to do with a McMahon is going to get high billing on the biggest show of the year, which is all good for the Phenomenal One.

There is still no IC title match even though Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin looks likely and same with the SmackDown Tag Team Titles pitting American Alpha against The Usos. The additions of these two matches would make for a total of thirteen matches for a six hour WrestleMania 33.
