IMPACT Wrestling – 3/31/22: South Philadelphia, PA @ ECW Arena

-The video of Moose spearing Josh Alexander’s wife at Destiney Wrestling over the weekend opens the show. Impact President Scott D’Amore meets Alexander and informs him that Moose is not in the building. D’Amore says the committee is meeting to discuss stripping Moose of the Impact World Championship.

D’Amore says he knows how Alexander feels because he’s known his wife longer than him. Alexander pushes D’Amore against the wall and says he has no idea how he feels and objects to Impact stripping Moose of the title because he needs to be the one to beat him for it.

ROH Final Battle: End of an Era Review

On Saturday, it was an end of an era as Ring of Honor celebrated everything that made the promotion special. Final Battle, a name inspired by New Japan Pro Wrestling’s catalog of defunct events, is usually their big pay-per-view show to close out the year.

This year’s incarnation was bitter-sweet, considering ROH’s scheduled hiatus could be a permanent vacation. It was a fun show with some great moments, video messages from past ROH stars, and two standout matches.
