Sgt. Slaughter has signed a new multi-year deal with Hasbro to get back into the fight with G.I. Joe. The Hall of Famer appeared on the latest Hasbro Pulse streaming event and revealed his first figure in the popular 6-inch collectors’ line, G.I. Joe Classified. Hasbro officials showed an image of the figure based on his appearance in the 1987 animated film G.I. Joe: The Movie

What Do The Latest Round of NXT Roster Cuts Tell Us?

The annual post WrestleMania roster cuts focused on NXT as ten names; eight wrestlers, one manager, and one referee were released on Friday.

Dakota Kai, Malcolm Bivens, Harland, Dexter Lumis, Persia Pirotta, Draco Anthony, Blair Baldwin (referee), Vish Kanya, Mila Milani, and Raelyn DIvine.

All of the wrestlers have a 30-day non-compete clause.

CM Punk vs. Hangman Page set for AEW Double or Nothing

CM Punk will challenge Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing on Saturday, May 29, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The match was announced last night on Dynamite while CM Punk was doing commentary for the Dax Harwood/Cash Wheeler match.

The match was teased last week when Punk had a surprise staredown with Page after his match with Dustin Rhodes. Double or Nothing will be Punk’s first shot at the AEW crown, which Page has held since he defeated Kenny Omega at Full Gear last November.

AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door Set for June 26 in Chicago

The forbidden door is no longer just a cool catchphrase.

Tony Khan announced last night on Dynamit that AEW and NJPW will hold a joint pay-per-view aptly titled Forbidden Door. The show is set for Sunday, June 26, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. 

AEW president Tony Khan and NJPW president Takami Ohbari appeared on stage to make the announcement but were interrupted by AEW’s Adam Cole and NJPW’s Jay White who filled in the blanks regarding the event’s details.

AEW Dynamite and Rampage coming on NJPW’s Streamer

The AEW faithful in Japan received some great news this morning as New Japan Pro Wrestling’s streaming service New Japan World announced that AEW television shows, Dynamite and Rampage, are coming soon to the streaming service. Also, a Japanese live version of the shows are in the works, all at no additional cost.

Wrestling Legend Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon Dies at 63

One of the most recognizable stars in pro wrestling, Scott Hall, passed away Monday at 63 years old. Many woke up to a message from Kevin Nash on Instagram that Hall would be taken off life support once his family was in place. At the top of Raw on Monday, WWE confirmed Hall’s passing.
