Over the years, Ring of Honor has failed more times than it’s seceded when speaking to my preference of professional wrestling. Last night, that wasn’t an issue as Best in the World’ 14 exceeded my expectations by relating to the fan inside who watches wrestling for the actual wrestling. While there were some missteps along the way, the passion that ROH prides itself on was on full display as wrestlers worked incredibly hard to put on a show that people will remember.

Do You Know About The ROH Pay-Per-View This Weekend?
Ring of Honor will present their first live traditional pay-per-view event this Sunday night, but you probably forgot or perhaps you didn’t yet know about it. The promotion of this show hasn’t been bad, it’s virtually non-existent. I was in the boat of people who forgot this show was taking place until I was reminded via an interview with ROH commentator Kevin Kelly. The lack of promotion and makes me wonder if they even want us to watch this event. I can’t miss an update about their iPPV’s if I tried, but it’s a ghost town of information when it comes to Best in The World’ 14. CM Punk: The Best DVD In The World
The gold standard of WWE DVD releases are The Ultimate Ric Flair collection and The Rise and Fall of ECW. After spending 3 hours with my Blu-ray player, CM Punk: Best in the World can be added to that list and may be the crown jewel of their catalog. I am of the opinion that CM Punk is currently the best worker in the business today. This is coming from someone who is not his biggest fan.

Glory By Honor X Tag Team Rematch: The All Night Xpress (Rhett Titus & Kenny King) defeated Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) when King pinned Ben out of a Power Bomb sunset flip exchange.
Special Attraction: Mike Bennett defeated Homicide with a school boy after being distracted by Maria Kanellis and Brutal Bob Evans.
– ChiKara Grand Champion Eddie Kingston came out for s special interview and Kevin Kelly announced a co promotion event between RHO and ChiKara titled “Synergy” in Chicago. Kevin Steen came out and wanted to make an alliance with Kingston where they destroy both promotions and rebuild them in their own image.
