Updated WrestleMania 38 Card

AJ Styles vs. Edge is the latest match added to WrestleMania 38 on April 2 and April 3 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Edge blindsided Styles with a kick below the belt at the end of Monday Night Raw and gave him two conchairtos. Six matches are official, with several more rumored.

The Undertaker: A Hall of Fame of his Own

Mark Calaway, better known as The Undertaker, will headline the 2022 class of the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The ceremony will occur following that night’s go-home edition of SmackDown.

There’s been a lot of talk about how WWE should present this year’s Hall of Fame. Independent film director and screenwriter Guthrie Roy Hartford of the Jobber Knocker Podcast had a great idea. He suggested Undertaker should be the sole inductee this year, with multiple inductors telling stories about “The Deadman.”

It’s one hell of an idea, and I’m here to tell you why.

Cody Rhodes: Into The Cody-Verse

What kind of a world is this where Cody Rhodes gets more press than Stone Cold Steve Austin? Amid rumors of Austin’s expected return at WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes’ exit from All Elite Wrestling has dominated the news cycle. It’s a shocking development that could favor WWE just in time for WrestleMania. 

I waited until after last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in case Cody’s departure was a work. There was no mention of Cody save for a brief nod to Cody’s chain match with Brodie Lee on commentary. Sports Illustrated reported that Cody could start with WWE soon.

Shane McMahon Out at WWE

Shane McMahon won’t be winning employee of the month in WWE. RingsideNews.com reported that all creative plans for Shane have been dropped and he was “quietly let go” by his father, Vince McMahon, and is “out of the company.”

2022 WWE Royal Rumble Review

The road to WrestleMania officially kicked off on Saturday night with the Royal Rumble from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.

Lots of excitement going into the event not only because it’s the freaking Royal Rumble, but there was no clear front runner on who would win the Rumble matches, like in years past.

However, rumors during the week gave away the finish to the women’s Rumble, while the fate of the men’s Rumble became evident a couple of hours into the show.
