Brock Lesanr Doesn’t Care What You Think
“I don’t give two sh*ts about that. This is about me. I want to get in there and be an athlete again. That’s what this is about.” This was a response from Brock Lesnar during a UFC media conference call on Thursday when asked about his drawing power in pro wrestling diminished if he lost to Mark Hunt at UFC 200.

Never has a WWE contracted wrestler been allowed to fight in a professional combative setting. That all changed on Saturday when it was announced on the UFC 199 pay-per-view broadcast that Brock Lesnar will make his return to the octagon next month at UFC 200 on July 9th. Monday, on SportsCenter, it was announced that Lesnar’s opponent at UFC 200 will be Mark Hunt. There are so many interesting variables to this unprecedented announcement. WWE WrestleMania 32 Review
Sorry for the late WrestleMania review. I was a little under the weather this past week. I also needed time to process this event. It wasn’t a bad show by any means, however, it also wasn’t the grand slam event that it could have been. Besides the super-hyped and unexpected return of Shane McMahon, the show had a lackluster build up over the past five weeks. AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas was the setting for this year’s lineup of 11 matches, all with the design to break WWE’s all-time attendance record.

WWE Fastlane 2016 Review
WWE FastLane 2016 | Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland Ohio
– Kalisto defeated Alberto Del Rio in a 2 out of 3 falls match to retain the U.S. Championship
It’s a shame this match was on the pre-show because these two worked very hard to put on a great match. Del Rio sacrificing the first fall by hitting Kalisto with a chair was something a true villain would do. Del Rio’s intensity was on point and Kalisto sold everything like he was getting killed. Del Rio showed even more frustration after Kalisto scored the second fall. Strategy turned to frustration as the steel chair that served Del Rio well could have been his undoing if he can’t keep his emotions in check.
– Sasha Banks & Becky Lynch defeated Naomi & Tamina via submission
The match was a little clunky at first, but got better as it went along. Lynch is a lot better of a wrestler than the casual audience gives her credit for. Banks kicked out of Naomi’s Rear View in a good near fall spot. The finish was a double submission with Banks applying the Bank Statement and Lynch locking in the Dis-arm-her for the win. Raw Ratings Suffer Despite Star Studded Lineup
WWE brought out the big guns this week in order to prevent what could have been a historically bad rating for Monday Night Raw. While the ratings did improve from last week’s record low number of 3.27 million viewers, it was only a slight increase to 3.35 million viewers. Even with the combined competition they faced, WWE can’t be happy with an increase of only 80,000 viewers considering the big names they had on the show. Will Raw Feel a Disturbance in the Force?
The highly anticipated trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will premiere this evening during halftime of the Giants vs. Eagles Monday Night Football Game on ESPN. The game officially starts at 8:15 PM EST and the trailer is expected to air between 9:45pm and 10:00 PM. While this is great news for Star Wars fans, this could be horrible news for WWE.
