If you ever wondered what it would look like if two professional wrestlers fought each other in an MMA bout, Bellator will deliver the closest thing to it on January 21 when Tito Ortiz squares off against Chael Sonnen in a light heavyweight main event. They both grew up as wrestling fans and have nicknames that firmly pronounce their colorful personalities.
The bravado of Ortiz’s fiery clad “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” is the perfect foil to the boisterous Midwesterner in Sonnen aka “The American Gangster.” If that’s not enough, the nucleus of their combative arsenal is a grinding wrestling style to punish their opponents against the cage. From the midnight ride of Paul Revere to the Red Sox breaking the 86-year Curse of the Bambino, Boston is no stranger to historic moments occurring on its shores. Another such moment, on a different scale, is set to occur on October 30 as Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte will be the first ever women’s match to take place inside of Hell in a Cell, at the TD Garden.
Mick Foley upped the ante when he announced Tuesday morning on Facebook that Sasha Banks and Charlotte will main event Hell in a Cell. Later on, Foley deflated the balloon of excitement when he clarified that the match order for the show is not yet final.

After months of speculation, Bill Goldberg returned to WWE, last night, on Monday Night Raw for the first time in over twelve years. He accepted Brock Lesnar’s challenge, with the expectation that Goldberg vs. Lesnar will eventually be made official for Survivor Series on November 20.
The crowd inside the Pepsi Center came unglued as they chanted “Holy sh*t” and “This is Awesome” before Goldberg said a word. The real emotion exhibited by Goldberg anchored the segment as he turned to his wife and son at ringside and said it was their first time seeing him live. The Undertaker and Bret “Hitman” Hart are my two favorite wrestlers. Hart’s never give up attitude, despite not being the biggest, fastest or strongest, along with Taker being the unconventional hero to conquer the biggest threats when no one else could, were ideals that inspired me growing up.
